soldering question

I am taking a R/L audio RCA cable and connecting it to a 1/8" headphone jack, so I can take the audio from my laptop to my TV. I just want to make sure my connections are correct. I have the red and black or right and left signals, my question is the ground both get tied together and soldered correct?

Thanks slick... I know but I could not find a 25', and I already had the cable I just had to pick up the 1/8" plug from Radio Shack for $3.
