Hey Guys, I wanted to share some pictures of my cave. I bought the pool table back in October on craigslist and didnt plan on having the room ready until next year, but bad weather forced another project to be put on hold, so I knocked this out. The room is 15' x 26' and was carpetted/drywalled when i started. A buddy helped me paint, but i did the rest working at night and on weekends. i had to have this done in time for a NYE party. i made it with about a week to spare. I still have minor shit to do, but the major work in this room is done. I'm planning to add a bathroom in the other half of the basement. I've been checking out the other caves here and they have been a great inspiration. I wish I found this site sooner, for a few more ideas.

Heres before and during construction pictures:

Yep that is what i was asking about. I didn't see any plumbing for that, how is it setup?

Its a simple portable unit, simply add water, plug it in and in minutes you have ice. Its made by Magic Chef. it did a great job at the NYE party. I'd recommend it, if plumbing isnt an option.

i believe that ice maker was around $250 originally, but my wife had a 20% off coupon and it went on sale, so she got it around $150 from a store called Kohl's.

My wife put some pics on facebook, but theres nothing worth seeing.

small world. my wife's cousin lives in quakertown too, on tollgate rd, just off 309. We visit once in a while. I'm no good at poker or pool (yet), but I'd like to check out what you guys have built. I pretty much do everything myself (too cheap to pay anyone) and i like seeing what other people come up with.

Sounds like my wife shopping at Kohl's
She bought a portable DVD (againt my recommendation) & under a year later it was dead
She brought it back & they gave her a full refund

Just spotted this. I'm about 2 miles off the Oaks exit on Route 422, if you know where that is. About ten minutes north of the King of Prussia Mall.

I'm having a poker game at 7 PM on Friday, January 15 if you PA guys want to come. It's a $40 freezeout NL game that usually lasts 3 to 3.5 hours with my blinds. Details here

www.jcinpa.com

PM me if you want to come and I'll send the address. I don't put it on the website.

Cheers,

John

Yeah, I spent so much time there they made me a Mod

I used to live in Wayne PA, South of King of Prussia as I remember
We used to ride our bikes to Valley Forge down Old Eagle School (hill?) Road
Used to get our 10 speeds up ot 60 mph
We'd pass cars as the speed limit was only 35-40

JC, you play on saturdays at all?

Every game was Saturday last year. This time I offered up a Fri/Sat combo to see which got more replies and Friday won. Later games may be alternating Fri/Sat.

For the Comcast website service, go to www.comcast.net, sign in, then click on More on the bottom of the left side pick list. Then on the right side of the next page it's personal web page listed under the heading Comcast Services or something like that.
