Just ordered two of these - one for the car; one for the 3/4 ipod stereos in the house. About $20/each shipped.

It will connect to anything that you would normally connect to an ipod/iphone. You then pair it with your phone and start streaming music to it. Most newer smart phones that use A2DP BT will allow you to stream your own musc, slacker, pandora, etc.

I have one of those Ipod connectors in my car but don't have an auxillary input (usb, 3mm, nada). So this will let me get around that without having to remove the head unit to install something - cheaper too.

Once I have it set-up, I'll report back.

Something else to note - obviously this helps you use non-apple devices, but you can just as easily stream the same way from an iPhone. The benefit is you are not tied/tethered to the stereo, you can be as much as 30' away checking email in another room.
