my personal wagers pages ends at 19...with the NFL Central wager...nothing beyond that even though I had over 150 pages of wagers...wtf? is there a gremlin in the machine?

I also see that there are no open bets outside of Qs plow bet, wasnt there some political stuff out there?

I had around 8 pages of previous bets, and that's now sitting at just over 1 page. Somethings fucked.

Old / inactive bets (settled) were purged from the database. Anything that was closed / settled greater than 6 months ago. At least that's what the cleanup script was told to do. I talked to Shadow last night and am sorting through the log files to see what was killed that shouldn't have been. It seems there are 2 or 3 bets that were 'long term' bets (futures) that were killed for some reason.

Let me track them down and I'll bring them back to life.

Otherwise, the old vbookie bets for the past 2 years were clogging up and draining the search function and causing havoc on the database with a ton of unneeded overhead. So, they were purged.

The criteria was (in layman terms) "kill anything that is older than 6 months, has been settled, and hasn't had a reply in 3 months"

So if there is a prop or two that fell into that mix, we'll track it down and figure it out.

This is also why you don't see all 900 pages of your prior bets.

Any hope for getting the open bets settled?

I think Q and Shadow have to dig through the files that were deleted, personally, I say just leave them in the deleted state, as the time and effort to take to sort through the deleted files truly out weighs the potential profits for a handful betting threads.

Is this one that was deleted in the purge that got a little too aggressive?

I think it may have, it was the divisional NFL threads, which were out there for months....I believe the NFL futures is missing also, as well as the over/under NFL wins one.

If that's the case, then there gone.

Unless I restore last weeks (or the prior week) database image to a test platform, manually extract the individual threads to a new database, then integrate the two together, update counters, etc. etc. rebuild the index, and hope everything like chips, history, content, etc. came across in the new threads as expected, and they merge properly with the production database.

Roger that. Seems like a whole lotta work for a whole lotta (potential) nothing...
