Michigan PMC Home Game 3/4/11

I'm hosting a home game for the local Michigan peeps. If you're going to be in the Metro Detroit area (South Lyon) this weekend, shoot me a PM and I'll get you the specifics. Game will be friendly $0.50/$1.00 round-by-round with $100 max buy in. Currently have 5 PMC locals coming, they can sound off if they wish.

I would consider bringing mine. Mine have never seen anything higher than the .25/.50 game. However, I plan on leaving about 1-130. I have a big night planned for SAT. night. Plus I work at 5 am on FRI. I will be a tad sleeeeeepy......

I got a labeled ASM set with denoms of 25c, $1, $5, $20 and $100. I got snappers too.

I could bring them, but I don't want to step on anyone's toes. I'm fine with non-labeled chips. As long as the cash is green.

That juicy Ypsi game that he talks about (and plays in regularly). Before he got there, there had felt stretched across a dining room table (now they have a CT rollout). I dunno what chips they were using, but DD brings his china clays. And they played with Copags, but I'm not sure if that was another DD donation.

Point is, if the game is right, like any of us, the equipment won't matter. But all other things being equal, nice chips/table/cards is a plus.

I play in a monthly dining room table, paper cards, dice chips and blinds double every 20 minutes game because the players are soooo bad. It's an ATM without a PIN needed.

As we mentioned last night, we should make this a regular, rotating thing. Monthly would be too often for me, considering I already host a monthly tourney, and I know some others have monthly games also. But every other month would be cool.

I started out hot, doubling my buy-in within the first hour, then went cold, losing it all. Reload for half a stack, lost it. Reload again and a nice 4 on the river gave me the sweeper in PLO8, tripling me up. Ended up with a $50 profit. Almost enough to pay for the tank of gas round trip...

Good time had by all, AFAIK.

I ended up in the hole 1 buy-in...due to Q finally loosening up at the end of the night. I had fun showing off my high-stakes donkey calling skills to you schlubs. It was kind-of ok to meet you all, weird though...I always thought Q was black.

I didn't get names from the other side of the table, but that dude behind Quads wasa a solid player, and that dude next to Shiney, he was a rock. He took a big pot off me with boat-on-boat crime... I knew he had to have me beat (flop was AA6 and turn was a 4) but I kept calling my A4 (I had A44x) and wasn't the least bit surprised when he turned over A6... I'm just not good.
