I'm thinking of buying one to use for carrying my notes to and from school.

Wife has one for Facebooks/email, etc. Nice size for travel. My only issue with it is that the resolution on hers is too low (you can get models with better resolution, though) and it causes you to have to scroll just to see a whole webpage.

Then again, for $150, you can't beat it. I think hers was $200+ refurbed from woot.

I originally got it because I thought i was going to be heading east for a few weeks for work and didn't want to lug around my dell laptop.. well that fell through and now i have two laptops lol. but i have used it for just surfing, quick checks of email and to keep me entertained while i would be fixing my desk top. never used it nor planned on using it for any major word processing or anything like that.

yes

i have some interest in it from other places where i posted this on so i'll be responding to those later tonight and will make sure to get back to everyone.

Also, I will be wiping the drive and will reload everything to factory spec.....i just need to dig up all the cd's that came with it.

.

yes, the screen size, resolution takes a little getting used to and tinkering with. its definitely something to use for surfing/quick notes/responding to email/etc... definitely not something that i personally would sit on for hours.

and if you got sausage fingers like my fat ass, the keyboard will take some getting used to.. but if you got skinny (read: girlie) figers, you're good to go lol.
