Been surfing the net and thought I may throw this out there.
How amny of you dispaly your blinds on a lcd screen, I was thinking of scooping up a cheap ass projecting mounting it in the garage and just using it to show the blinds during tourneys..............what do you all think?

I have 3 older 15-17" LCD screens in the basement for blinds for our tourneys. TD2.x does a fine job of displaying the tourney screen on dual monitors.

Here's TD2.x

Here is a pic of the setup at my old house. The new house, while smaller, has the same setup as far as the screens are concerned. You can see the remote screen on the wall in the upper left corner.

I have a SVGA splitter that has 4 SVGA outputs on it. This powers the 4 monitors I currently use, since the tables are in 3 different "rooms" in the basement. But a projector shouldn't hook up any differently than a standard SVGA monitor. I use a laptop and the external SVGA port for the extra screens. TD can display the "game" screen on the extended monitor while the "console" is still displayed on the main computer monitor for use when actually managing the tourney. I could not handle the number of players I've gotten without it.

I didn't host a ton of tourneis, but when I did, I always showed TD. At the time, I'd VGA out to the TV in the garage from my laptop.

I was given a TV similar to this:

That is in the garage specifically for blinds/timer.

After the tournament I'll throw a movie in just to distract others while a take all of their chips during the cash game.

I run a smaller home game from time to time, 6-10 players, 1 table. But I always you Dr. Neau's blinds timer 'cuz it's much simpler than trying to track it myself.

TD, no question. Works great, if you choose just the basics, or even if you personalize it with colors/sounds/ads/whatnot. As Shadow states, it can push the game screen(s) out to external monitors, while keeping the admin screen active on the PC/lappy. Great stuff!

Same here....I use TD with a few LCD's hooked up to my laptop. I also have my standard blind schedule set up in a holdem timer on my phone. If it's a small game, or I'm at a friends house playing I'll just use it.
