Sitting in the theater now. I'll update tonight with a review. I've heard it's really funny.
(I'm here by myself because I left the house after the 3 year pushed me to the limit. Being a Dad is so..... Much.... Fun )

Ok.....here is the review;
Overall it is pretty damn funny. There are a couple laugh out loud parts that are A+, but most of the movie is good but not great humor. I think it could have been a little more crude for my taste. It had the makings to be much funnier with some extra crude material. It's like they would start down a seriously funny moment and it got let down due to them staying within a normal rated R commentary.
Overall I give it a B to B minus. Give a look on a rental

You guys are idiots. The crew behind this movie has made some of the funniest flics of all time: 40 Year-Old Virgin, Anchorman, Talladega Nights, Superbad, Knocked Up, etc. I'd go see it (and will one of these days) just for the novelty of catching this type of crude humor from the female perspective.
Anyone who dismisses this as 'a chic flic' is too worried about how small their dick looks in their leather thong...

I cannot believe that you would say that. People go to the movies by themselves all the time. In this instance, it was getting late.....the wifey had to be home with the kids and I needed to get out of the house.

One, the ribbing was NOT because you went by yourself, it was because you went by yourself to see Bridesmaids. If you went to see something non-gay, like Hangover or something, no comments at all.

Watched it tonight while at work. Only reason I watched it was because the wife wanted to add it to our movie collection and I watch every movie in my collection (to say I've watched every movie)
Couple funny parts, but overall, it's definitely a chick flick.
Saw with Mrs on DVD. Funny bits, but it's 100% SNL movie.
Meaning it's completely skit-centric. You could practically see them sitting around writing it, "Hey we'll do a real funny bit where she gets doped up on a plane - that'll be 10 minutes. Then we've got a great bit where she tries to get the cops attention - antoher solid 5 minute skit."
As a movie it sucked. As a bunch of funny, somewhat related SNL skits, it was OK.

I agree....I will say first, that wifey AND I watched this TOGETHER!!! As a man should do, watch a chick flick only in the company of a chick.
Anywho...I was hoping for better. We were both a bit disappointed in the movie, not as funny as it could have been, should have been, etc.
So glad this thread got bumped, I hadn't seen it and lol'd the whole way through...

I threw Street Legal in there because in college it rated right up there with Swedish Singles and Puppet porn for random Mystery Science Theater 3000 commentary nights with ladies and gents in attendance. A lot of booze and a lot of happy memories with that movie.

Stop the movie right after Nuke gets the call up and goes and finds Crash in the bar, and the film maintains its dignity.
If you watch Crash move on, hit his home run, then come back and bang that old lady in the tub with candles and put on a fucking robe and dance around like a homo... then its a chick flick.
