A friend of the guy who bought this table (http://perfectmancave.com/forum/showthread.php?t=15580) called me yesterday and left a message asking if I was interested in building a table (and a topper for either the poker table, a pool table, or both, not sure what he was asking for). He probably lives in Minnesota (since that's where the other table is at). I charged about 2x materials for the last one (came to about $2500, and then another $500 for shipping), so the guy has to know they don't come cheap.
I've moved since I sold this table, and don't have my shop or any of my tools anymore. Thought about offering to do one out of metal (brushed aluminum racetrack and maybe diamond plate accents), but I think I'm going to pass. I don't think I have time these days, and my boss has been a dick lately about letting us use the waterjet for personal projects on weekends.
If anyone is interested, maybe reply with some pics to your tables (preferably hosted photos, not necessarily links to threads here - I sometimes think potential clients don't need to see some of the discussions about pricing, etc.) that I can pass on to the guy and then PM me your contact info to pass along.
