Would you guys be interested in doing something like this?
You pick the teams you think will win for games each week. There is a point spread involved which I would update each week. I would kind of need to know what you guys think for an entry fee as there are essentially going to be 4 rounds during the season. So we could go 1K per round or 4K for the entire season or whatever everyone wants.
There will be two ways to win:
1) The person with the best week (highest winning %) during the 4-week segment will be one winner. Therefore, if you play in all 4 weeks, you will have 4 chances to win. This person will win 50% of the pot.
2) The best cumulative score for the round will be the other winner. If you forget to make your picks at any point during the round, your chances of winning under this option will be greatly reduced. This person will win the other 50% of the pot.
It's quite possible that 1 person could end up winning the entire pot. If you guys just wanted straight up cumulative, we could do that as well...I just like the best week scenario as it gives those of us that aren't too knowledgeable about the NFL a chance.
