Pending approval of time off, I'm planning to head to Vegas Oct 11-13. Got an offer for a comped room at the Wynn for 2 nights in a very restricted window. (Don't ask me why, but I'll take it.) Kind of feels like a once in a lifetime opportunity to stay there (I'll never shell out for that kind of room) so I'm gonna take them up on it.

Have enough miles on one of our credit cards for the flight, so everything but meals will be practically free.

Planning on flying out Tues am and returning Thurs afternoon/evening.

Happy to share the room with anyone who wants to tag join me.

What / how did you get the deal from the Wynn? Was this a dirrect mailing offer or something for thier exclusive high rollers?

Just showed up in the mail. I can't believe that $20 in a quarter slot and ~15 hours at the 1/3 table would qualify me for any special treatment, but they'll have to pry it form my cold dead hand to take it from me....

I won't be able to use mine, as it won't bring the Wifey down with me on the dates that it is valid. The Wifey is the only reason I'd stay there versus at the house my Father and I have in N. LV.

I don't have the slightest idea.

I dropped $20 in a quarter slot on my first visit (which yielded me far more player points than the 2 solid days I logged in the poker rom) and the comp came from the slots division.

I don't have enough player points to buy a cup of coffee on my players card even after my second visit, so why they sent me a comp for 2 nights in their posh place is well beyond me. But who am I to turn it down....

(I made sure to spend a few quality moments with the slot machines when I returned...)

Just got another 2 night comp in the mail today. Not sure if I'm going to be able to use it - dates are real short notice and I have plans on one of them (hosting a game next weekend :cry: ) and the other date is in early Feb. I already have 2 fairly major weekends planned in Feb so I guess I'll have to chew on it a little.

Sure wish one of the dates was in March or they would have given me a little more notice....
