One of the reasons I bought my house just over 8 years ago was that it had a great basement with incredible potential. My Man Cave was born and included 4 1/2 x 9 pool table, pinball, foosball, and darts. This was also a great place for all my memorabilia that I had started collecting since I was a kid. The one thing my Cave was missing was a bar. So after 8 years, last December I started to build one and I finished it in November.
The name HE-MAN-WOMAN-HATERS-CLUB (OUR GANG/Little Rascals Club House) came from my buddy Wes who when over for dinner with his wife would inevitably say let’s go down to the HE-MAN-WOMAN-HATERS-CLUB and shoot some pool. It was our place to go and get away from the woman for a little while. So when the bar was done I decided to call it that. To clarify we do love woman at HE-MANS!!!!

Your man cave is "Pimp" & "Gangsta" but definitely "Scholarly" LOL! I love it, and how you decorated!!! VERY NICE. Love the bar feeling with all the memorabilia all over the walls etc. Way to go man!

The bar top piece was 5 3/4 inches thick and the upper piece along with the back bar and lower bar piece was 7 inches. I had the bar top split in half and the 7 inch piece split into 5 equal pieces. Both pieces were 19 inches wide and 8 feet long. Cost was $300 bucks for the 7x19x8ft peice. About another $100 for the sawmill to cut and sand the pieces. We applied three applications of an epoxy bar top to get the shine. People are blown away when they see it.
