Man, you are making me think I could kill one of these.
I swore off online poker, but if you are on your "A" game, you are cleaning up!

I'm telling ya' man, these things are easily beatable. I play the single and 2 table $20, as well as the $20 180 person ones. In the 1 and 2 tables, I almost always finish in the $ (1st-3rd) just by playing nice and tight up front until at least 3-4 players are out. The blinds are low enough in the first hour that you could just sit out, but it helps to mix it up with your big hands and take a chip lead.
In the larger tournies, just play your A game like you did at DC, and you're almost guaranteed in the $$. Problem with the 180 person tournies is payout structure:
18 places paid:
10-18: $40 (roughly)
9: $60
8: $80
7: $120
6: $180
5: $220
4: $300
3: $400
2: $740
1: $1080
It sucks to play for 3 hours, only to go out in the final 2 tables and make a crappy $20 for your time... but the investment is cheap for the payout if you can make it big! And I can sit here and watch sports or poker or whatever, have a beer, relax.
Good times!
ya know, just the other day I was really bored at home and for the hell of it I opened up a full tilt account to kill some time. All I've been playing are little $10 and $20 SnG's and Ive been killing them. I have finished in the money on every single one of them (like 5 or 6 now.) I don't even play that seriously.. its usually just going on in the background while im working on other stuff on my computer. I just play really tight and play my big hands extremely aggressive, and next thing I know im in the money lol.

Historically I have only played Head Up tourneys on UB. For the most part I have done quite well. Lately though I have gone through a very dry spell where I couldn't win if I was playing by myself!! So I switched to the six person/one table tourneys and have always finished either 1st or 2nd. I am only polaying like $10 tourneys so I am not raking a ton of money but I have found that patience pays off! Like everyone has said, play the big hands and just wait it out till the other pinheads knock themselves off!!
