Sure underneath there's a space. I could put a weight in there. See the picture below, there's a large opening. I really do not think it needs it though.

since you have a bit of weight at the top it might be a bit top heavy...if there is a wobble issue putting weights down below might dampen it a bit. You are doing outstanding work on this sir.
